About Me.
Hello and welcome!
My name is Aleni and I am a fine artist based in Cincinnati, Ohio but originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Growing up exposed to art fueled my journey to create leading me to a BFA at Xavier University and seeking a job in 3D and experiential design.

Education
When I started college at Xavier University, I was adamant on just a graphic design major. I quickly learned that my hands ached to create more than just the workload that graphics had to offer so I added a photography concentration and switched to Fine Arts.

I have since studied ceramics, sculpture, and oil painting. In 2022 I studied abroad in Italy for 6 weeks, learning philosophy and drawing. At the end of my trip, I participated in a group show about our time abroad featuring 10 of my original works. Xavier University then funded me to attend NCECA in March of 2023 and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in the August 2023 where I studied jewelry making and soldering.
My Art
For the last four years, I have explored the blending of digital and tangible art. I am a digital artist at heart and taught myself 3D modeling, sculpting and rendering on the side while being a full time student. I started developing an interest in 3D printing which has changed my art for the better. By being able to print my 3D designs and sculpts, I can truly achieve this blend of digital and tangible work through mixed media art.

I tend to combine my mediums in everything I do. I use sculpture and set design skills in my photography, painting and 3D prints on my ceramic work, and 3D design in my graphics. In general my work focuses on themes of environmental concerns, human rights, and political commentary with touches of humor and irony.
